Mount Hope is an incredible experience as your guide takes you floating through the picturesque mountains in the natural freshwater stream. The float takes you down a pristine river, complete with short, small rapids and ends crossing a sparkling waterfall. Float down river, journey your way through the dense Vanuatu rainforest. The journey to Mt Hope is approximately 1.5 hours (each way) from Luganville and most resorts. The vehicle is utility truck which will take you on an adventurous journey up a bumpy road - riding inside the truck cab or on the tray for the full experience. Moderate agility is required for this tour. The river has carved out a magnificent gorge, lined with remarkable limestone formations and overhanging ferns and jungle. The activity itself (the float down the river) takes approximately 30 minutes. There is only one operator for this tour.
